Spotlight on Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Rick Gilbert

In addition to working to keep students safe, Gilbert’s department places a strong emphasis on fostering strong relationships and connections with the school’s more than 2,200 students through its Safety Officers Advancing Relationships (SOAR) program. Through the program, officers volunteer to visit students and share information about various safety topics.
