FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Clery Center is excited to announce the first of its kind Clery Act State of the Field Survey, with support from Healy+, Grand River Solutions, NACCOP, and D. Stafford & Associates. It is designed to gather benchmark data from and for Clery Act practitioners across the country.
The goals of the survey are to identify what institutional resources and support are being dedicated to Clery Act implementation, trends in how institutions of higher education are interpreting and implementing the law’s requirements, what external resources and systems are being utilized for its implementation, and challenges or concerns institutions are navigating with implementation.
The survey data will be made available to the public, free of charge in the fall of 2024. Clery Center encourages everyone who works at an institution of higher education and has any Clery Act related responsibilities to participate.
“Your participation in this survey is vital to show important nationwide trends across all aspects of Clery Act compliance,” according to a Clery Center statement.
The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. Participants are not required to complete the survey in one sitting; they can save their progress and complete it later.
Although the survey is anonymous, there is an option for survey participants to provide their contact information to be entered in a weekly drawing for a $200 Visa gift card.
The survey will close August 30.
