How Texas A&M’s Integrated Mass Notification System Works
TAMU is enabling digital signage in lobbies and other public areas to receive Code Maroon emergency alerts. As of August the university had 40 monitors on line and more on the way. Digital signage displays poll the system like an RSS feed for the alerts, and each signage system’s software determines how the alerts are displayed.
