Safety Technology International, Inc. (STI), a manufacturer of fire, safety and security products, introduces its mounting pedestals for outdoor security or access control equipment.
STI offers two models — one surface mount and one subsurface mount. Both gauge steel pedestals can be used for access control such as telephone entry, gate operations, parking control, card readers, push buttons or switches, intercoms, fire access stations and keypads.
The first available pedestal is the STI-9779 which measures 60 inches high and is designed to be anchored, cemented and buried into the ground. It has a mounting plate hole pattern that supports a variety of appliances, according to the company. There is a one-year guarantee from the date of purchase under normal use.
The second model is the STI-9780 which measures 42 inches high. It is designed with a base to mount to a concrete pad. STI-9780 has a mounting flange cover plate which helps protect the four mounting nuts from damage. It also has a one-year guarantee.
Both models have a durable anti-corrosive polyester powder coat finish.
